the set is a good size, which is unusual considering every children's tea set I ordered was MICROSCOPIC in size. A tablespoon of beverage wouldn't even fit in most tea cups I saw. It was very well made. BUT, you cannot put any beverage in the tea pot. It is that "magical" liquid that looks like it is in the teapot and you pretend to pour it in the cups. That is no fun, in my opinion. If you don't mind not being able to put a liquid in the teapot, I think this is one of the better ones because of the quality and size.
